Well if life teaches us one thing it's that something popular will get spoofed or parodied. Sometimes this goes well like the Star Wars spoof 'Space Balls,' which was made by Mel Brooks. Or 'Blazing Saddles,' which spoofed Westerns, which was also made by Mel Brooks. But while you have those two classics you also have god awful mind numbing crap like 'Epic Movie,' 'Meet the Spartans' and 'Date Movie.' The makers of those movies should really apologize to those who actually paid money to see those flicks.This also goes for music. But at least we have the intelligent, but hilarious spoofs from Weird Al Yankovic, which include 'Amish Paradise' and 'Eat It' just to name a few. But where there are good ones, there are bad ones. One only needs to look at 'The Fifth of Beethoven' by Walter Murphy. This alone proves that classical music and disco should not unite, and when it does it results in something that would make Satan cringe. Well what is this leading to? Well after the popularity of Snoop Dogg's collaboration with Akshay Kumar to create 'Singh is King,' he does it again.
Now following on the heels of the success of 'Slumdog Millionaire' we have 'Snoop Dogg Millionaire.' I'm pretty sure 'Singh is King' was both loved and hated by his fans,but I guess Snoop Dogg is looking for a new market. And why is he looking for a new market?Well, following the success of his TV shows 'Doggy Fizzle Televizzle' and his E! Entertainment show 'Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood,' it doesn't hurt to continue trying new ideas in a field you're good at. I personally tried to listen to 'Snoop Dogg Millionaire,' but I just couldn't. About a minute into the track I wanted to floss with razor wire, but that's just my morbid opinion on it. It very well might not be yours if you are a big Snoop Dogg fan.
