The competition's always intense, this year even more so with a Bollywood producer looking on.
Raman Khanna's been producing shows in Mumbai for years. Next month his 'dreamgirls of bollywood' plays seventeen shows around New Zealand and he's looking for kiwis to join his Indian superstars on stage.
The success of Slumdog Millionaire has made his job much easier as interest in Bollywood is sky high.
Khanna says Polyfest is the perfect place to find talent with thousands of children from dozens of cultures. Khanna is not limiting his search to Indian dancers. He wants anyone with talent, and with a dozen cultures on stage it's the perfect place.
Polyfest ends on Saturday afternoon, by then more than 9,000 children will have performed, and eight could be on their way to becoming Bollywood stars.
