March 14, 2009, (Sawf News) - TV's beloved 'Bhabi,' Rucha Gujarathi, is set to crossover to Bollywood as lead in the upcoming film Lottery, opposite debutant and former Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant.Rucha is not new to Bollywood; she started her acting career as a child artiste appearing in films such as Dancer, Sahabzaade, Hum Hain Kamaal Ke, Kanyadaan and Shikari.
She spent many years appearing on TV series which include: Kkusum, Bhabhi (as bhabi), Waaris, Waqt Batayega Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya, Shh Phir Koi Hai and the reality dance show Saas V/s Bahu. She also did a weekly breakfast time serial called Tak Dhina Din .
Rucha has also done commercials like Livon, Frooti, Royalstag; Clinc All Clear, Emami Cream, Colgate, Pizza Hut, Hamdard Rogan Badam, and appeared in the music videos of albums by Gurdas Mann, Pankaj Udhas and Vaishali Samant.
