Bollywood film reviews - March 23, 2009

AA DEKHEN ZARA: Ray Acharya (Neil Nitin Mukesh), a struggling photographer has nothing going for him… until he inherits a special camera from his grandfather, which changes his life in a way that he could not have imagined. Aside from becoming an overnight success, he meets the love of his life, Simi (Bipasha Basu), who is a DJ. But happily ever after isn't an ending destined for him as he is forced to deal with the responsibility that comes with his inherited power. Aa Dekhen Zara is a fast-paced, romantic musical thriller with some great edge-of-the-seat action.

VILLU: Prabhu Deva's interpretation of the Bollywood hit, Soldier. The story centres on a son avenging his father's murder. The cast is headed by Vijay, Nayanthara and Vadivelu. A masala offering that, although entertaining, features a plethora of
truly incredulous action and comedy scenes.

DELHI 6: Roshan travels from the US to India with his ailing grandmother. Little does he know this trip will turn into the longest journey of his life. The story is told against the backdrop of the ancient walled city of Delhi. Stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Om Puri and Rishi Kapoor. Delhi 6 offers a melange of funny, dramatic and playful moments… don't go looking for more as Mehra has gotten quite whimsical with the plot.
