Actress Ayesha Takia recently got back after a long honeymoon and celebrated her 24th birthday with hubby Farhan Azmi and family. The actress and her husband spent a month in Europe and travelled to Paris, Brussels, Antwerp and Amsterdam by car and train. And what does the actress have to show for her trip? 18 bags full of gifts from adoring hubby Farhan, who recently turned down an offer to contest the elections from his father Abu Asim Azmi and Amar Singh.Explaining his decision he says that 18 days are too short for people to get to know him on the campaign trail. Though he admits that his new wife was initially reluctant to let him join politics, he is quick to add that she promised to support his decisions through and through. Takia acknowledged the need for young and dynamic people to do something for their country, and promised to stand by her husband when he contests the Legislative Assembly elections six months down the line.
